Since our establishment in 1988, Planmeca’s developers have worked closely with dentists to sense future trends, using this data to design products accordingly. In order to meet the growing demand for high quality dental imaging units in the United States, we have partnered with select dealers to create a unique sales and distribution system for all Planmeca products. From the introduction of the first microprocessor-controlled chair, to the development of the ProMax with SCARA (Selectively Compliant Articulated Robotic Arm) technology, Planmeca has always led the way with new technology. Our goal is to supply our customers with the highest quality dental equipment that is uniquely designed for today's modern, technologically advanced dental office.
Located in Roselle, Illinois, our facility offers 55,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, increasing our ability to maintain and supply inventory for our dealers. We are also able to employ the necessary staff in our technical and customer support departments and in other crucial areas, in order to properly support our dealer network. Planmeca's 26 regional sales support representatives are highly trained and experienced professionals, and we also employ 15 technical support technicians in our Roselle office, supplying knowledgeable and product-specific phone support to all customers.
Planmeca has successfully trained hundreds of technical and sales personnel in the field as well as on-site at our Roselle facility. Our series of training sessions, including our latest Regional Technical Training Program, aims to provide each dealer location with trained specialists for Planmeca products. These trainings will result in professionals who have a clear understanding of functions and terminology, giving them the ability to supply accurate information for all products. It is important for Planmeca to provide our dealers with high-tech, top quality products, as well as a superb support system for those products. Through our sales team, our technical trainings, and staff of over 60 employees, we are able to do this.
