Q: What is the first thing I should do when I need technical assistance with PLANMECA product?

A: All PLANMECA products are shipped with Technical manuals from the factory. Please read the manual before contacting technical support. Most technical issues can be identified and resolved just by referring to the manual.

Q: How do I obtain updated manuals?

A: You may download all technical manuals from the PLANMECA USA website. If you prefer we also have all of our manuals available on CD, which may be ordered through our customer service department. Dealer login is required.

Q: Who do I contact if I need technical assistance for all PLANMECA equipment?

A: Please contact your dealer service center or PLANMECA Technical Support.

Q: What are the normal business hours for PLANMECA Technical Support?

A: PLANMECA Phone Support is normally available on the following days: Monday-Thursday 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Friday 8:30AM-3:00PM and from 4:00PM-5:00PM Central Standard Time. Phone number: 630-529-2300.

Q: What information do I need before calling technical support?

A: The type of equipment you are working, model, serial number, and reason for the call.

Q: What types of questions does technical support handle?

A: All questions specifically dealing with the technical aspects of PLANMECA product. All other calls must be directed to the appropriate department. All pricing, returns, orders, and part numbers are to be directed to the customer service department.

Q: Is it possible to request a specific person in technical support?

A: Yes. However, this will more than likely cause a long delay. For immediate assitance ask for the next availble phone support specialist. All phone support specialists are qualified to answer most technical questions. If for some reason they are not able to answer your question, they will at least be able to direct you to someone who can.

Q: What voids PLANMECA's equipment warranty?

A: Any abnormal wear and tear, modifications, or improper installation and handling of any PLANMECA product.
