PLANMECA Compacti (Balanced arms) is the prime choice for efficient and ergonomic teamwork. The unique design allows excellent access to all instruments and controls for both the dentist and the assistant. The unit supports good treatment workflow and has innovative functional hygiene features that guarantee uncompromised patient and user safety.
PLANMECA Compacti hanging tubes instruments delivery brings the instruments at the correct height for easy reach and allows optimal access to the tray. The instrument console can be equipped with up to five instruments featuring intelligent Plug&Perform quick connectors. An optional sixth instrument position can adapt the Planmeca Intracam intraoral video camera.
- Light, precise and well-balanced movements of the instrument arm maximize working comfort. The perfectly balanced instrument arms are flexible forward and sideways to assure sufficient reach.
- The unit has automated and effective instrument flushing procedures for patient change, daily maintenance and weekly treatment of the dental unit waterlines.
- The unit provides versatile patient chair options such as fold-down leg rest, armrests and motorized headrest with movement in three dimensions. Available is also the viscoelastic upholstery, which adapts perfectly to follow patient’s anatomy for exceptional comfort.
- Adjustable angle instrument holders allows optimal adjustment access to each instrument.

Practical Instrument Holders
The instrument holders have individually adjustable angles so that the user can freely adjust each instrument for their personal optimal access. The instrument activation has maintenance-free optical sensors. The holders are removable for easy cleaning or thermo disinfection.
Tray Table
The hanging tube instrument console can be equipped with a large and solid integrated tray table. The tray is ergonomically positioned for both the dentist's and the assistant's access, and its maneuvering easy thanks to the highly practical integrated handle. Another option is to place a tray table on top of the instrument console.
