Solid Image Database and Licensing - Image Security
PLANMECA Dimaxis is utilizing SOLID database engine to store all images in a safe and secure way. The database also has many automated features that allow you to manage new and old x-ray images efficiently.
The AUTOMATIC BACKUP feature backs your database into any predetermined hard drive within your network. The start of the back up can be set to active at any time, usually during the nighttime.
The BUILT IN WARNING SYSTEM can be set to give you an error code to let you know that database is growing large compared to your hard drive size. A correctly set settings will allow you to do necessary action before the computer server runs out of hard drive space.
The TWAIN IMAGING capabilities saves always two images. The system can be set so that the image is always saved in two different hard drives. In case of a hard drive failure, you can rebuild your database using previous back up and TWAIN images.
You can get SOLID database as a single user system, 5-user system, or 10-user system. The SOLID licenses are concurrent user licenses.
SOLID database engine compatible with Windows XP, 2003 server, and Vista operating systems.
