Bridges and Integrations - Linking PLANMECA to other
There are many ways to link other dental software to PLANMECA. The most commonly used links are bridge, integration and TWAIN.
BRIDGE
The bridging links the Practice Management Software (PMS) to the Planmeca Dimaxis Imaging software. The bridge transfers the patient name, patient ID, birthdate, and patient gender from PMS to Planmeca Dimaxis imaging software. Also, if the Dimaxis is not yet open, the bridge would open the Dimaxis software for that patient.
