Grand opening of the new dental clinic at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery
On Tuesday, October 24, the new dental facility at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School was officially dedicated with proper ceremony. The training environment is mainly built on Planmeca’s digital dental units and software.
Planmeca has supplied the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery with over 320 digital dental units, 80 digital X-ray units, 92 digital simulation desks, 80 digital simulation units, and patient chairs. This agreement is the largest in the history of Planmeca and worth 15 million U.S. dollars. The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery is the oldest dental school in the United States. Earlier this year Planmeca supplied the University of British Columbia, Canada, 150 dental units with integrated software and digital imaging equipment.
