• 3-tier client–server software allows for more control over the system and enables advanced data processing such as automatic server side processing.
• Powerful user and group management with full system audit trail guarantee that patient information is protected.
• As Java software, Planmeca Romexis can natively run on both Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X operating systems.
• Using Java Web Start, Planmeca Romexis can be updated to a new version with minimum effort; simply update the server and all clients will be automatically updated.
• Image and report data can be exported to other software for further processing.
  Planmeca Romexis integrates with different systems (for example Dolphin, Simplant Pro, coDiagnostiX), using various interfaces; it conforms to international standards, such as DICOM allowing for full compatibility with other systems and software.
